Facilitator/Coach

“My intention is to guide and empower others as they tend the inner garden of their healing and growth with presence, compassion, and care for their unfolding journey.”

I was born in the United States and grew up in the South of Germany. After finishing high-school I moved to Denmark to pursue my studies in Design and a Master of Arts degree. I worked as a Designer and Design Consultant in the field of Design Research, Strategic and Business Design and specialized in the approach of human-centered design. This methodology places the user’s needs at the heart of the design process to facilitate behavioral change and create real value for people and organizations.

In 2011 a series of synchronicities led me to join a volunteering project in Rwanda, Africa. The whole journey sparked an awareness in me which initiated a radical change within. As a result, I was led on my journey to search for meaning, plant medicine and healing modalities that would help me heal from my work addiction and severe anxiety.

My work with plant medicine began in 2014, during a time when I was nearing burnout in my corporate career and searching for a more balanced, meaningful way of living. A chance encounter, unexpected yet deeply aligned, led me to Ayahuasca and to my first plant medicine retreat in the Peruvian jungle. This profound experience helped me reconnect with myself and marked the beginning of my healing journey.

Since then, I have been working with Ayahuasca, other master plants and medicines to heal, learn and grow. I have taken part in many plant dietas, some under the guidance of the Mestizo lineage and others under the Shipibo lineage. My diets in the Shipibo lineage have significantly deepened my relationship with plants and opened the path to my own medicine which has led me to support others on their healing journey.

In the years that followed, I devoted myself to deeper healing and growth through continued work with the medicine, plant diets, and training in different healing modalities. About five years ago, this naturally evolved into supporting others as a facilitator, and three years ago, I joined the team at Soltara.

Today, I reside in the mountains of Peru where I live a life of service as a facilitator for Ayahuasca, San Pedro, and Kambo ceremonies and retreats. I continue my apprenticeship and immerse myself in multiple medicines and healing modalities. I am a yoga teacher and work with herbalism, food therapy and sound healing. I also practice Ayurvedic Marma Therapy, Pranic Healing, and Theta Healing to support and empower individuals on their Journey.

My preparation, facilitation, and integration work weaves together shamanic wisdom, somatic practices, my own lived experience, as well as the resources each person carries within. My immersion in somatics has shown me how essential mind-body and heart coherence are for healing. This holistic perspective, held through a trauma-informed lens, shapes the way I hold space, grounded, attentive, and deeply attuned to the unique process of each person I work with.

I believe in the power of nature, prayer, and living a life of gratitude, connection, and community; a way of life that leads to supporting each other on this life journey for more healing, growth & expansion.

My intention is to guide and empower others as they tend the inner garden of their healing and growth with presence, compassion, and care for their unfolding journey.
