Facilitator/Coach

“The path is not easy, but my hope is that together we can find a way through, and that you will come to discover that tending to your own wellbeing is the most generous, compassionate, and important work there is.”

I have spent the last fifteen years exploring all manner of ways to balance body and mind, love and loss, Indigenous wisdom and the excesses of western stimulation. I believe that life is incredibly challenging for many of us, and I also believe that it is the most beautiful and mysterious gift we could conceive of.

My first Ayahuasca ceremony was held by an esteemed Taita in Colombia in 2012. I later spent a year living, working, and dieting in the Shipibo traditional heartland of the Peruvian Amazon from 2016-17. I first came to Soltara in 2021, and I work as part of the facilitation team here, proudly supporting the retreat and ceremony space. Along the way and across those years, I have experienced and come to revere many incredible medicines, wisdom traditions, and sacred ceremonies, including (but not limited to) Oni, Yoga, Huachuma & Iboga. I am forever grateful for the depth and intelligence of the plants and for the growth, peace, and inspiration that are available to each of us through this work.

I have been fortunate enough to travel extensively through the world, living in the ashrams of India and the wild beauty of the Amazon, all the while interspersing my time with spells in the corporate chaos of an investment bank in London. Having worked on the FX trading desk in my early twenties, I have seen the staggering juxtaposition of just how many ways there are to live in this world, and how critical it is for you to find your own stable centre, your own knowing, irrespective of the environment you may find yourself in. My work intends always to guide you towards that stability.

I believe that we embody our life experiences, and so the body is where we ought to address and integrate them. Over the years, I have studied and found great benefit from many disciplines, and among them, I primarily turn to Compassionate Inquiry, EFT, and Yoga Therapy to support my work with clients. The path is not easy, but my hope is that together we can find a way through, and that you will come to discover that tending to your own wellbeing is the most generous, compassionate, and important work there is.
